My name is Elena and I am Russian living in Ireland. I have been studying, working and doing a lot of travelling in Ireland. I have lived here since 2002 and now not only officially Irish, I feel Irish. In my time here I have walked the hills of Donegal, climbed Croagh Patrick, fished for treasures of Atlantic, visited countless gardens, tasted various specialties, attended shows and events, local theatre productions, made friends, stayed in B&Bs, castles, luxury hotels, one or three hostels, self catering cottages and even slept in a tent on few occasions. There is very little that I have not experienced on the Green Island of Ireland.

Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
