Frank Shovlin

Professor Frank Shovlin is a native of the West of Ireland. He has worked in Liverpool since 2000 where he is Professor of Irish Literature in English at the University of Liverpool. He was educated at University College Galway where he took BA and MA degrees before moving on to St John's College, Oxford where he completed his D. Phil. in 2000 under the supervision of Mr Tom Paulin. He has extensive experience of graduate student supervision and mentoring and welcomes approaches from students interested in all aspects of Irish literature from the late nineteenth century onwards.
