She has a background in visual art, having studied Fine Art at Waterford Institute of Technology (now South East Technological University), specializing in painting. Her poems have appeared in The Irish Times, The Irish Independent’s New Irish Writing, Poetry Ireland Review, The Stinging Fly, Banshee, The Marrow, Magma and The Monster’s Back, a selection of winning and Highly Commended poems from the Patrick Kavanagh Award (2025). Irish Interest in based on one very simple idea: to bring the contents of any Irish bookshop to people everywhere, especially those outside Ireland who do not have the possibility of keeping abreast of new books published in Ireland.
