Eamonn (P.E.) Gunn was a former member of the Garda Síochána. Born in Pomeroy, County Tyrone, he grew up in Manorhamilton, County Leitrim. Educated at St. Mary’s College, Dundalk, he served in the army during the war before joining the Garda Síochána in 1943.
